Private tour Guide: As your private tour guide I cater for small groups, a maximum of 3. There are set package tours available and bespoke tours where I can plan a special tour according to your needs.
Tour plans are typically 1 day / 2 day / or 3 day tours.
Any tours longer in duration may be arranged privately.
Package Tours:
The following is a 3 day tour but can also be taken as separate 1 day tours.
The William Wallace Tour:
Day 1 The Rebel Tour: Tower Lindsay (Crawford Castle), Lanark, The National Wallace Monument & Battle of Stirling Bridge.
Day 2 Battle of Falkirk Tour: Wallacestone, Falkirk, Torwood, Dundaff Castle.
Day 3 Betrayal Tour: Robroyston, Dumbarton Castle, Port Glasgow. Hunterston Castle which houses part of the original Wallace Oak, which Wallace was chained to as a prisoner before being escorted south is housed here. Private tours can be arranged to Hunterston at specific times of the year.
There are many other sites in Scotland and the UK associated with the story and legend of William Wallace, many of which can be seen in my documentary films and videos. Visits to these locations can be arranged and included in private bespoke tours.
Robert the Bruce Tours:
Day 1 Uprising: Lochmaben Castle, Dumfries, Loch Doon Castle.
Day 2 The Outlaw King: Scone Palace, Battle of Methven, Battle of Dalrigh.
Day 3 The Guerilla Fighter: Rapploch Moss, Glen Trool, Louden Hill.
The Heartland Tour: Dunfermline Abbey- Burial Place of Robert the Bruce, Renton- Robert the Bruce Museum- a meeting with Stout Duncan), Melrose Abbey – Burial Place of Bruce’s heart.
The Battle of Bannockburn Tour: 1 day or 2 day battlefield tours are available.
You can opt for an intensive 1-day tour of the battlefield over the 2 days it was fought (6 square miles), or you can settle in and take your time in taking a fully in depth look at the battle over 2 days. Please email a request for an itinerary for each day of the battlefield tour.
The Bannockburn Highlight Tour is also available as a group tour. Tour duration is 3 Hours with an overview covering all major areas and significant sites of the battlefield. A maximum of 12 people per group.

Bespoke tours: The list of Wallace and Bruce sites around Scotland cover large areas and can be organized according to your wishes. We work together where I will plan out some suggested itineraries that allow you to get the maximum quality from your tours for you to agree to. Tours can also take in the famous historic films and some of the locations of Braveheart, The Bruce, Outlaw King, and Robert the Bruce.
All private bespoke tours are varied depending on your time, the locations, and travel. Please provide me with as many details as possible so I can prepare a quote. Prices will include a tour itinerary and fuel costs.
